Role Overview

We are seeking a 3D Piping Designer to support manufacturing and field service teams by producing accurate piping designs for equipment and project needs. This role ensures all required materials, equipment, and technical information are in place to complete projects efficiently while aligning with customer goals and protecting QTS’s interests.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop plant 3D models
• Produce main assembly and detailed drawings
• Create and update technical routing documents and information sheets
• Prepare and revise bills of materials (BOMs)
• Update and refine main and detailed drawings as project needs evolve

Required Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in stainless steel tank design
• 1–3 years of recent experience with AutoCAD, AutoCAD 3D, Inventor, or SolidWorks
• Strong AutoCAD proficiency
• Ability to read and interpret P&IDs
• Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
• Strong work ethic with the ability to follow direction and work independently
• Piping design or BPE experience preferred but not required

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate degree or technical school training in Mechanical Design/Drafting
