Accountants One has been hired by a passionate non-profit organization in North Atlanta to find an Accounting Supervisor to join their team. This organization has been serving adults with disabilities for 50 years. The ideal candidate will have excellent GL accounting skills and a passion for their mission.

Required Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting or related field from a 4-year accredited institution and at least 4 years of related experience.
• CPA with small to mid-size public accounting firm experience preferred.

Major Duties and Responsibilities

• Responsible for the day-to-day accounting transactions, including accounts payable, payroll, billing, client funds, and receivables.
• Oversee and direct three accounting staff.
• Manage cash, reconcile balance sheet, and bank statements.
• Maintain all account analyses and assist auditors with year-end reporting for various audits.
• Assist with the preparation of cash flow projections.
• Compiles and analyzes financial information to prepare journal entries for accounts, such as general ledger accounts, and documents business transactions.
• Preparation of monthly financial statements and budget reports.
