On an avenue steeped in history, we’re what comes next: a curated space to be yourself and embrace the bold.

A design led lifestyle hotel, Hotel Park Ave sits at the heart of the NoMad neighborhood on one of Manhattan’s most famous streets. The hotel, currently undergoing refurbishment by the Lore Group design team, will soon unveil refreshed rooms, a new lobby and nine new suites. New restaurants and bars will be announced soon.

As an Assistant Front Office Manager, you are the face of Hotel Park Ave, acting as the Duty Manager on shift and ensuring the team of Guest Journey Ambassadors excel in delivering a seamless guest experience.

Your role and responsibilities will include;

  • Lead and motivate the team of Guest Journey Ambassadors, fostering a culture of service excellence and teamwork.
  • Act as the Manager on Duty, supporting the Guest Journey Ambassadors with any queries or challenges.
  • Welcoming guests on arrival and facilitating smooth check-in and check-out experiences.
  • Anticipate guest needs and deliver outstanding service, turning requests into delightful surprises.
  • Resolve guest concerns and complaints effectively and efficiently, ensuring guest satisfaction.
  • Actively take part in training the team, facilitating formal training sessions and on the job training
  • Be present in the lobby at all times and act as the go to for all guest requests.
  • Assist guests with luggage storage & delivery to their room.
  • Communicate with guests prior to arrival and assist with queries and requests relating to their stay.
  • Share your insider knowledge of the city, providing tailored recommendations for dining, attractions, and entertainment.
  • Engage with guests throughout their stay, ensuring every moment is enjoyable and memorable.
  • Collaborate with other departments within Hotel Park Ave to ensure prompt and efficient fulfillment of guest requests.
  • Gather and respond to feedback, continuously striving for excellence in our service.

  • Experience in hospitality or customer service is highly valued.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.

Compensation and Benefits;

Salary: $64,350
