Job Description: Associate Director Product Manager - Retail Media Networks

As an Associate Director Product Manager, you will be responsible for identifying options to improve business systems and processes. In this role, you will bridge the needs of the business through the analysis and communication of requirements. You will collaborate with stakeholders undertaking major Digital Business Transformation (DBT) engagements to understand their business, end-customer needs, and then constantly deliver value with fast increment cycles.

Your Impact:

  • Partner with stakeholders, strategists, experience leads, and architects to frame business goals and value pools from which we can shape product propositions that provide transformative business outcomes and user experience
  • Research, capture, define, and analyze business and user needs
  • Develop detailed documentation including business requirements, functional specifications, and user stories
  • Conduct thorough, data-driven analysis and recommend effective solutions
  • Help resolve issues, risks and dependencies
  • Translate product vision into a roadmap containing well-defined, prioritized features that will realize the product vision and value
  • Validate and present the business case to the C–level executives and lead business reviews to ensure the team prioritizes the right features
  • Serve as a voice of the user among the cross-functional team, always understanding the user needs
  • Establish objective goals with success and acceptance criteria using meaningful metrics, KPIs, and quantifiable business outcomes
  • Collaborate with product owners, solution managers, and cross-functional product managers, to ensure alignment
  • Collaborate with system architects to envision and prioritize system enablers
  • Build and maintain a trusting relationship with stakeholders, teams, and vendors; develop influence without authority

Your Skills & Experience:

  • Experience working with a multi-disciplinary team on customer-focused products and services
  • Proven ability to prioritize multiple demands and obtain buy-in from stakeholders
  • Experience with visualization tools, PowerBi and Tableau
  • Practice in workshop facilitation to cultivate the ideation
  • Familiarity with database, visualization, and data science tools e.g. SQL, Python, APIs
  • Able to analyze complex business requirements and design practical solutions
  • Excellent communication, problem solving and analytical skills
  • Strong judgment, issues management, and problem analysis techniques
  • Strong presentation, facilitation, time management, and prioritization skills
  • Ability to define financials, ROI, KPIs, and forecasts, with success leveraging data to make decisions about product feature increments
  • Proven track record of working with senior client stakeholder and diverse teams as a servant leader and steward of economic and customer value
  • Mastery in leading change and inspire others to change behaviors
  • Influencer in continuous learning and innovation

Set Yourself Apart With:

  • Development or technical background
  • Certified SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager designation
  • Certified Agile Product Manager designation
  • Scrum Master experience

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree minimum, in Computer Science or related field

Specific Project or Industry Experience Required:

• Experience in Retail Media Network (RMN) is required.

• In-store media experience is ideal but not mandatory.

• Experience in point of sale, loyalty, and couponing is desirable.

• Experience with devices in store is highly desirable.
