Job Description

Davies group is seeking a dedicated and experienced Full time Auto Bodily Injury (BI) Claims Specialist to work onsite and handle the investigation, evaluation, and settlement of complex automobile bodily injury and liability claims. This role requires advanced analytical, negotiation, and investigative skills and an ability to manage high-severity claims including extended disability, litigation, and serious injuries.

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate claims and determine appropriate resolution strategy.
• Investigate liability, coverage, and damages for auto bodily injury claims.
• Maintain detailed documentation of investigations, correspondence, and settlement activity.
• Manage coverage-related litigation and communicate effectively with plaintiff counsel and third parties.
• Collaborate with internal leadership to resolve complex or litigated claims.
• Interpret and apply relevant case law, statutes, and regulations.
• Notify reinsurers and prepare claim evaluations for appropriate levels of settlement authority.
• Strive for timely, accurate, and cost-effective claim resolution.
• Stay current with industry standards and best practices.

Qualifications:

• 3–5 years of experience specifically in Casualty or Auto BI claims handling (required).
• In-depth understanding of medical/legal terminology , liability issues, and coverage disputes.
• Experience handling litigated and high-exposure BI claims .
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and claims management systems.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Adjuster license(s) or ability to obtain them as required by state regulations.
