Position: Clinical Pharmacist
Job Type: Full-Time (FTE)
Location: Plattsburgh-NY
Base Salary: $126,464 to $187,100 +Best-in-class benefits
Responsibilities:
* Medication Preparation and Dispensing: Accurately prepare and dispense medications and pharmaceutical supplies for both inpatients and outpatients.
* Order Verification: Review and verify medication orders, ensuring accuracy, appropriateness, and compliance with established protocols.
* Patient Counseling: Provide medication counseling to patients, explaining dosage, side effects, and potential interactions.
* Inventory Management: Maintain appropriate inventory levels of medications and supplies, ensuring proper storage and handling.
Quality Assurance: Participate in quality assurance activities to ensure the accuracy and safety of medication dispensing practices.
Qualifications:
* Education: Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy (BS Pharmacy).
* Licensure: Registered Pharmacist (RPh) in New York State.
* Experience: Hospital pharmacy experience preferred.
