Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to join our team on a large-scale sports stadium renovation project . This role is initially based in Daytona Beach, Florida , with a comprehensive travel package included. The Superintendent will be responsible for the supervision and coordination of project team members and contractors to ensure timely execution of work, adherence to plans and specifications, and delivery of a high-quality finished product for the client.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the development of work scopes and bidding documents to ensure clear and concise scopes of work.
• Support bid processes, including participation in post-bid interviews, answering contractor questions, and identifying qualified contractors based on project requirements.
• Enforce company safety policies on the jobsite, including pre-task safety planning, and maintain responsibility for safety compliance in the field.
• Organize and manage day-to-day on-site labor forces.
• Supervise, coordinate, and sequence contractor work to minimize scheduling conflicts.
• Support project management with budget oversight and forecasting, including monitoring contractor costs, time, and materials.
• Develop site logistics plans for the entire project to maximize productivity and minimize impacts to building occupants.

Requirements

• 7+ years of direct supervision of construction projects, including managing multiple trades.
• Bachelor’s degree in construction, engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with contractors, architects, and owners.
• Proven ability to negotiate and handle conflicts professionally.
• In-depth knowledge of construction principles, methods, performance standards, environmental regulations, and workplace safety.
• Experience in markets such as healthcare, higher education, aerospace, and sports facilities is a plus.
