Job Title: Recruiting Coordinator

Industry: Professional Services

Location (city, state): Washington, DC (Hybrid)

Assignment Type: 6-month contract (maternity leave coverage)

Pay: $23–$28/hour (based on experience)

Work Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00am–5:00pm; hybrid schedule with in-office days on Tuesdays and Thursdays

Job Description:

Addison Group is seeking a detail-oriented Recruiting Coordinator to support a busy recruiting team. The ideal candidate enjoys organizing moving parts, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and takes initiative in maintaining the flow of the hiring process. This role is perfect for someone looking to deepen their experience in HR and talent acquisition within a collaborative, high-performing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate interviews for candidates across various divisions, ensuring all logistics are handled efficiently.
  • Maintain consistent communication with applicants, recruiters, and hiring managers throughout each stage of the process.
  • Update candidate profiles, notes, and status changes in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) with accuracy.
  • Assist with preparing and posting job listings, as well as tracking requisition activity.
  • Compile reports and support ad-hoc recruiting projects as needed.
  • Provide general administrative support to the recruiting team to help streamline day-to-day operations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 1–3 years of experience in recruiting coordination or human resources administrative support within a law firm or professional services environment .
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with a polished and professional demeanor.
  • Experience using an ATS; familiarity with Workday or Rooster is a plus.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage shifting priorities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work independently while also contributing to a collaborative team.

  • Reports to: Director of Recruitment
  • Team Size: 3
  • Company Size: ~2,200
  • Start Date: Ideally 12/8 or earlier
  • Interview Process:
    • 30-minute virtual interview with a Senior Recruiter
    • Panel interview with the recruiter team
  • Hours per Week: 40
  • Overtime: At manager discretion
  • Recruiting agency involvement to date: Other agencies engaged; client prefers polished, professional candidates.
