Insight Global is seeking a skilled an experienced Critical Facility Electrician to join a large and distinguished company in Birmingham, AL. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical systems within critical facilities, possess the ability to perform maintenance and repairs on switchgear and low voltage systems, and is comfortable with working a 4/10 schedule with some weekend work required. As the Electrician, you will play a valuable role providing solutions to essential services and companies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, following blueprints and technical diagrams
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and wiring diagrams to plan layout and installation of electrical systems
• Install and connect electrical panels, outlets, switches, lighting, and other electrical components.
• Test electrical systems using tools like multimeters, ohmmeters, and other testing devices to ensure safe operation

Must-Have Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of electrical experience in critical facilities.
• Proven experience with switchgear maintenance.
• Expertise in low voltage systems (600 volts).
• Proficiency with electrical testing equipment, hand tools, and power tools
• Physical stamina and the ability to work in various environments, including confined spaces, heights, and adverse weather conditions

Preferred Qualifications:

• Journeyman Electrician certification.

Compensation:

$52,000- $62,000 per year annual salary. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role may include healthcare insurance offerings and paid leave as provided by applicable law
