Position: Estimator

Location: Claremore, OK

Pay: $50,000 to $60,000/year

Experience: 3 to 5 years of experience in aerospace manufacturing or a similar industry.

Education: Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, Industrial Management, or a related technical field preferred.

Type: Full-time; Direct Hire

Schedule: Monday to Friday, Day Shift

ProRecruiters is seeking an Estimator to join a growing and dynamic team!

Job Description:

• Analyze blueprints, technical models, and specifications to prepare detailed time, cost, and labor estimates.
• Calculate costs for raw materials, hardware, labor, and production processes.
• Coordinate with suppliers and vendors by sending RFQs to obtain accurate pricing.
• Collaborate with engineering, production, and sales teams to ensure accurate and competitive quotes.
• Research industry standards and internal data to determine accurate costing.
• Assess risks and feasibility of projects within defined timelines and budgets.
• Maintain and update records of all estimates and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with internal quality and engineering standards.
• Support the quoting process for both internal and external customer requests.
• Work cross-functionally to improve the accuracy and efficiency of the estimating process.

Position Requirements:

• Proficiency with Excel, ERP systems, and cost estimation software.
• Skilled in reading blueprints, technical drawings, and 3D models.
• Experience with SolidWorks, Catia, or NX.
• Strong understanding of machining processes including milling, turning, fabrication, and assembly.
• Knowledge of quality and engineering standards in manufacturing.
• Excellent analytical and mathematical abilities.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
