Year round Farm and Ranch position immediately available on a northern New Mexico farm/ranch. This large family owned ranch is located 100 miles from Santa Fe and 30 miles from the Las Vegas, New Mexico community.
This is mostly a farming position with very occasional assistance given to the ranching operations. The farm produces alfalfa and some winter wheat on 850 acres that is irrigated by both flood and circle systems. The operation also runs 1500 steers from May 1st to October 1st on gamagrass pastures. The family's contiguous living compound and grounds are managed and operated separately from this farm and ranch hand position. Spanish speaking required, English is not necessary but would be a plus. This job would be a great fit for someone who speaks Spanish and would be at home in a rural north eastern New Mexico majority Hispanic community.
