Known for its exquisite wine and stunning views, our venue offers a beautiful Tasting Room, an elegant 8-bedroom on-site villa, and a large-scale event venue perfect for weddings, private events, and corporate gatherings. We pride ourselves on delivering an unparalleled experience for our guests while maintaining a focus on exceptional service, high-quality products, and memorable events.

We’re seeking an experienced, hands-on, people-focused General Manager to oversee daily operations and lead the tasting room team.

Position Overview

As the General Manager , you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of tasting room operations, including staff management, customer service, sales, and overall guest experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing daily operations of the tasting room, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow.
• Hiring, training, and supervising tasting room staff to provide exceptional customer service.
• Developing and implementing sales strategies to increase wine sales and memberships.
• Assisting and managing with private and public events on the property.
• Assisting with Villa oversight and management
• Maintaining a welcoming and attractive tasting room environment.
• Coordinating events and special tastings to enhance the guest experience.
• Managing inventory, including ordering and restocking wines and merchandise.
• Ensuring compliance with all health and safety regulations.
• Handling customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints in a professional manner.
• Collaborating with the marketing team to promote the tasting room and events.
• This position will report directly to the VP of Hospitality.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a General Manager or similar leadership role in the hospitality or wine industry.
• Strong knowledge of wines and the winemaking process.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Outstanding customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Proficiency in point-of-sale (POS) systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
• A passion for wine and hospitality.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
• Experience working in a winery, vineyard, or similar venue environment.
