Job Description

Job Title: GRC Analyst (Governance, Risk, and Compliance) - No C2C

Location: Deerfield, IL (Hybrid: 3 days onsite, 2 days remote)

Duration: 6-month contract

Pay: $24 - $28 per hour

Worksite Preference: Most roles prefer candidates to work from the Deerfield location; downtown option available.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Business Analyst to support IT Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) initiatives within a large enterprise technology environment.

This role will contribute to ongoing risk, compliance, and policy efforts with a focus on regulatory standards such as HIPAA , PCI-DSS , and HITRUST .

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, collaborative, and eager to gain hands-on experience working with global teams, IT asset owners, and compliance stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support various aspects of Technology Risk & Compliance (TRC) programs, including global policy management, risk assessments, and compliance monitoring
  • Assist in developing and executing IT control testing procedures
  • Collaborate with internal teams to implement and monitor compliance activities
  • Participate in risk remediation and mitigation planning
  • Contribute to risk, control, and policy assessments across business units
  • Aid in the creation and maintenance of reports, dashboards, and documentation related to risk and compliance metrics
  • Maintain inventories of IT assets, controls, risks , and related data within the TRC program
  • Support governance and oversight processes to ensure compliance objectives are met

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree with at least 2 years of experience in IT Compliance, IT Audit, or IT Security OR High School Diploma / GED with 4+ years of relevant experience
  • Familiarity with regulatory and industry standards such as HIPAA and PCI-DSS
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly present technical and non-technical information
  • Experience working with stakeholders across different departments and levels
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and identify trends, risks, and exceptions

Preferred Skills:

  • Understanding of HITRUST or similar certification frameworks
  • Experience creating compliance reports or dashboards
  • Exposure to IT risk management tools or platforms
