Job Description

Description We are looking for an Internal Auditor to join our team on a contract basis in Chino, California. In this role, you will play a key part in managing and executing audit procedures to ensure compliance and accuracy within financial and operational processes. This position offers an excellent opportunity to apply your auditing expertise in the utilities and infrastructure industry. Responsibilities: - Conduct comprehensive internal audits to assess financial accuracy and operational compliance. - Analyze audit findings and prepare detailed reports with actionable recommendations. - Develop and execute audit programs tailored to organizational needs and industry standards. - Collaborate with departments to ensure adherence to established policies and procedures. - Assist in the annual internal audit process, ensuring all required documentation and evaluations are completed. - Identify potential risks and provide insights to enhance internal controls. - Monitor the implementation of corrective actions based on audit results. - Stay updated on industry regulations and best practices to maintain effective audit processes. - Support management in achieving organizational goals through effective risk management and compliance initiatives. Requirements - Strong understanding of internal audit principles, practices, and methodologies. - Knowledge of financial auditing and ability to analyze financial statements and data. - Familiarity with audit programs and tools used for assessing organizational compliance. - Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail. - Effective communication skills to present findings and collaborate with teams. - Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines. - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred. - Prior experience in auditing within the utilities or infrastructure industry is a plus.
