Position Overview:

The Key Account Manager plays a vital role in building and maintaining strong relationships with key customers. This role focuses on supporting long-term account growth, executing strategic sales plans, and meeting revenue goals. It requires a mix of relationship management, business development, and day-to-day follow-through to ensure major accounts are supported and successful.

What You'll Do:

  • Develop new business opportunities and build strong partnerships with customers.
  • Execute sales strategy and programs according to fiscal plan and budget in order to achieve assigned sales goals.
  • Prepare weekly activity sales reports maintaining focus, achieving goals, and providing feedback/information and recommendations necessary to prompt appropriate business changes.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to research customer problems and questions. Responsible for ensuring engaged and satisfied customers.
  • Develop effective selling presentations of new and existing accounts.
  • Communication skills, with ability to interact with all levels of customer management.
  • Demonstrate thorough knowledge of Trends products and services in order to maximize business opportunities.
  • Maintain current customer files and pertinent database information on all accounts.
  • Manage required reports on a timely basis as they relate to products, sales, expenses, trade shows, etc.
  • Assists management in the research and development of new products and processes suitable for accounts.
  • Performs as a support function in the areas of product, promotional, sales, performance reports, industry information, and marketing plan execution.
  • Must be able to travel – 25%.
  • Perform all related duties as required.

  • Experience with Tableau and similar sales reporting tools is a plus
  • Proficient Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Three to five years sales experience, preferably in the value channel or in business development.
  • Experience in budgeting and project management.
  • Experience selling Direct Import programs.
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve sales targets.
  • Experience selling licensed goods is a plus.
