We're proud of our achievements, including over 1,800 wine scores with 90+ points and recognition from the prestigious "Confrerie de la Chaine des Rotisseurs." 107 Bistro & Wine Bar at Testarossa Winery is open Wednesday - Sunday for lunch and dinner (12-8pm), located on a charming historic patio surrounded by lush forest, offering a unique outdoor dining experience for guests and club members. Currently we have shifts available Wednesday - Friday from 7am - 4pm.

What the 107 Line Cook does ! 

As a Line Cook, you’ll execute salads, entrees, appetizers and desserts based on the design of the Executive Chef. Working in our mobile food facility within 107 at Testarossa Winery in Los Gatos, the day to day may include: 

• Preparing menu items at our off-site kitchen and assisting with other culinary tasks
• Executing menu items at the winery including plating of salad, entrees, appetizers and desserts and buffet items based on the design of the Chef de Cuisine
• Setting up, breaking down and cleaning, including food transport from catering van
• Organizing, rotating, and assessing inventory levels of food storage areas 
• Working efficiently in a face-paced environment

Requirements:

• 1+ year of kitchen experience or equivalent culinary education
• ServSafe and/or California Food Handlers Certification
• Safe knife skills 
• Ability to work effectively in a team, be proactive, have a sense of urgency, a positive attitude and effective communication

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

• Must be available 3 days/week within our service hours
• Walk, stand, bend, kneel, and reach frequently for the duration of the shift 
• Lift and carry up to 50 pounds frequently
• Handles sharp and hot tools regularly
• Frequently utilizes cleaning chemicals
• Drive to/from the offsite kitchen in San Jose to the Winery in Los Gatos, as needed
