Shift: Days, typically 5x8-hour shifts per week

Contract Duration: 13 Weeks with possible extension

Job Description:

We are seeking a qualified Mental Health Coordinator to deliver clinical, non-medical mental health services within a correctional facility setting. This role involves assessment, counseling, crisis intervention, and treatment planning for incarcerated individuals. The coordinator must demonstrate the ability to manage a caseload and deliver services in accordance with professional standards and organizational protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct mental health screenings and assessments via clinical interviews and record reviews
• Develop, implement, and adjust individualized treatment plans
• Provide counseling and crisis interventions as needed
• Maintain accurate and confidential clinical documentation
• Apply psychological counseling theories and techniques effectively
• Ensure strict adherence to confidentiality standards.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Mental Health Counseling, or a related clinical field
• Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience, including 2 years in a similar position
• Must hold active LPC, LCSW, or LMFT licensure in the state of practice
• Valid driver’s license preferred (unless otherwise required).
