A dynamic and well-established regional law firm in Houston is seeking a talented Lateral Associate to join its growing Casualty and Mass Tort Litigation Practice Group. This role is ideal for a litigation attorney with 5+ years of experience ready to take on greater responsibility, direct client interaction, and courtroom exposure.

Key Responsibilities:
• Handle all phases of litigation from intake to resolution, including discovery, motions, and trial prep
• Lead depositions, draft dispositive motions, and attend court hearings
• Interface directly with clients, providing regular updates and strategic legal counsel
• Collaborate with partners and senior litigators on high-value mass tort defense cases
• Manage discovery responses and reporting responsibilities across jurisdictions

Qualifications:
• Minimum 5 years of general litigation experience, preferably including mass tort or personal injury defense
• Licensed and in good standing with the Texas State Bar
• Strong track record with depositions, motion writing, and case management
• Excellent academic credentials and legal research/writing skills
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to develop client relationships
