What You'll Do:

• Be part of a classroom team creating a hands-on, individualized, engaging classroom experience for young learners
• Support the development of the whole child including social, emotional and cognitive growth through Montessori based activities
• Foster a positive and joyful environment where children have fun and love to learn, explore and grow
• Participate in ongoing professional development to expand your skills and knowledge in early childhood education

What We're Looking For:

• A team player who is enthusiastic about working with young children
• A desire to grow within the field of education, with interest in Montessori philosophy. (Please note: Montessori training is NOT required for this position. Scholarships towards Montessori certification are offered for those interested.)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• A positive, flexible attitude and a passion for lifelong learning
• A Bachelor's degree and early childhood education (ECE) units are preferred

Montessori Schools of Irvine have four schools located in Irvine, CA, with one on the UCI campus, which provide care and education to infant, toddler, preschool, and early elementary children. We are currently hiring early childhood educators who appreciate and respect the unique qualities of each child to teach our EARLY CHILDHOOD (3 to 5 years old) or TODDLER (1 year old through 2 years old) children.
