Community hospital part of a system looking to bring on Nurse Manager ICU! Bonus Incentives!

Summary:

Ensures high quality, patient-centered care through oversight of the overall daily function and staffing of the unit/department. Monitors and evaluates the provision of nursing care in accordance with established policies/procedures and holds staff accountable for quality and clinical outcomes in support of facility objectives.

• 42 Critical Care beds total – 18 beds in one tower for ICU/CVICU, and 23 beds in the main ICU
• About 135 FTE's in the department including Managers, Clinical Nurse Coordinators, RNs, New Grad RNs, Nurse Externs, Unit Secretary
• This will be one of 2 Managers on the team, reporting to a Director Critical Care, then ACNO, then CNO
• This ICU they see neuro, surgical, trauma, respiratory, etc.

Qualifications:

• Must have Recent (within the last year) Acute Care leadership experience as a Charge RN, Supervisor, or Manager in Critical Care (if only charge nurse experience candidates must have 5+ years, Manager experience would be 2+ years and Supervisor experience would be 3+ years. Must have this leadership experience within the Critical care space)
• BSN Preferred (but would accept ADN currently enrolled in a BSN)
• Florida RN licensure required
• BLS and ACLS required upon hire
