Job Title: Nursing Supervisor – Evening Shift

Location: Pittsfield, MA

Pay rate: $70 TO 75/HR

Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM

Schedule: 32 Hours/Week Guaranteed

Duration : 3+ Month Contract role

Position Summary:

Position Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Nursing Supervisor to provide evening oversight of hospital operations, including inpatient units and all ancillary/support departments functioning during these hours. The supervisor will serve as a clinical and administrative leader, ensuring smooth, efficient, and high-quality care delivery throughout the facility during evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Key Responsibilities:

• Direct and coordinate operations during evening, night, and weekend shifts across inpatient and ancillary departments.
• Serve as the administrative authority and clinical resource during off-hours.
• Address and resolve clinical, staffing, and operational issues in real time.
• Act as a leadership presence, supporting nurses and other hospital staff.
• Ensure adherence to policies, clinical standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Support emergency/trauma and critical care coordination as needed.
• Collaborate with department leadership on staffing, workflows, and patient care issues.

Required Qualifications:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Massachusetts
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) required
• Minimum 1–2 years of proven leadership/supervisory experience in a hospital or acute care setting
• Demonstrated knowledge of acute care operations, including emergency and critical care services
• Proficiency in conflict resolution and multitasking under pressure
• Working knowledge of staffing systems is preferred
• Evidence of ongoing professional development and continuing education
• Must have personal vehicle for commuting

Certifications Required (Must Be AHA):

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
