Job Description

One of the leading specialists in air transport communications and information technology is looking for an Operational Bid Support Manager to join their Hybrid team in Atlanta, GA.

Our client is looking for someone to support the commercial teams in achieving business objectives while ensuring long-term customer satisfaction through consistent quality of service. Additionally, the role maintains financial health by conducting analysis, reporting, and implementing cost optimization initiatives.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience in Service Transition, IT Service Management (ITSM), or Change & Release Management.
  • 2-4 years of experience in customer success, or technical support roles, preferably in SaaS, IT, or service-based industries.
  • 5-6+ years of experience in proposal management, or bid management, particularly in industries involving complex or tailored support solutions.
  • Demonstrated experience in preparing client proposals, conducting market research, and collaborating across teams to develop support solutions.
  • 3-5 years of experience in financial analysis, forecasting, or strategic planning.
  • Proven ability to build and manage budgets, analyze trends, and deliver actionable financial insights.
  • 3-5 years of experience in leadership or supervisory roles, with a focus on team development and resource planning.

What You Will Be Doing

Daily Responsibilities

  • Drive the proposal of SITA standard support solutions (support model, SLA, etc.) to ensure consistent and long-term quality of service and customer satisfaction.
  • Engage with clients for non-standard operational requirements to understand needs and provide tailored proposals in collaboration with Service Support Architects.
  • Clearly identify and document risks and assumptions related to the identified support solution.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop accurate cost estimates and define contract schedules, including SLAs and support models. Actively support the negotiation of contractual terms with customers.
  • Contribute to the preparation and submission of proposals, ensuring they meet client requirements, adhere to deadlines, and comply with legal and organizational standards.
  • Track and analyze bid performance, conduct post-bid reviews, and maintain the bid support knowledge management database for continuous improvement.
  • Analyze financial data and trends to identify risks, opportunities, and areas for improvement, providing actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Prepare financial reports and collaborate with stakeholders to align on risks, mitigation strategies, and business objectives.
  • Monitor data quality, consistency, and compliance on an ongoing basis.
  • Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for data in their area, answering queries and guiding usage.
