Job Summary:

The Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing warehouse and service operations along with equipment refurbishments within a designated region. This individual will ensure efficient and timely resolution of customer issues while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction. Additionally, the regional service manager will collaborate with other managers to coordinate service coverage and support as well as identify opportunities for improvement and growth. The operations manager will also be responsible for the timely production of quality refurbishment projects in the Rome, GA location.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage open calls to ensure a timely resolution, preferably on a daily basis.
  • Ensure completion of preventative maintenance tasks before the due date.
  • Assist in dispatching calls and delegating tasks as needed.
  • Report and escalate repeat call issues for resolution.
  • Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all sites within the region.
  • Collaborate with other managers to coordinate service coverage and support.
  • Identify and implement opportunities for process improvement and growth.
  • Pay close attention to details on refurbished equipment to ensure high quality outcomes.
  • Meet timeline requirements for refurbishment projects through effective management of refurbishment staff.
  • Ensure quality warehouse inventory and up to date procedures following ISO process and standards.
  • Implementing new structures when updated efficiency is identified.
  • Overseeing day-to-day warehouse operations.
  • Team leadership including mentorship and fostering career development for employees

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a management or supervisory role.
  • Proven trach record of successfully managing service operations.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Detail oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications.

Conditions/Environment:

  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull 50lbs. unassisted; frequently bend, stoop, twist, climb, crouch, squat, kneel, crawl, sit, and stand for long periods. Must reach above/below shoulder level, flex/extend neck, and have good hand/finger dexterity.
