Job Description

Job Responsibilities

1. Factory Setup & Delivery

Lead the end-to-end planning and execution of a new manufacturing facility, including site evaluation, equipment selection, construction supervision, and final delivery. Ensure full compliance with safety, environmental, and production regulations. Establish technical standards, oversee construction quality and timelines, and coordinate resources to ensure efficient project launch.

2. Manufacturing Operations Management

Design production line layouts, implement lean manufacturing and 5S principles to optimize processes, reduce costs, and ensure product quality. Develop production schedules, cost control systems, and monitor delivery timelines to improve operational profitability and performance.

3. Team & Compliance Management

Build the factory organizational structure, establish talent acquisition, training, and performance systems. Manage employee relations to foster a high-performing team culture. Liaise with local government agencies (e.g., labor, environmental, commerce) to ensure full compliance with U.S. regulations and secure potential policy support.

4. Process & Technology Optimization

Design and continuously improve operational workflows, enforce strict control over inventory quality and asset utilization. Leverage digital tools and systems such as MS Office, ERP, CRM, and data analysis platforms to enhance operational efficiency and decision-making.

Qualifications

1. Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Operations Management, or related fields.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in factory operations, including at least 2 years in a Plant Manager or equivalent role.
  • Proven track record in 0-to-1 factory setup is highly preferred.

2. Core Competencies

  • Deep expertise in production planning, cost control, and quality management systems (e.g., ISO standards).
  • Solid understanding of U.S. labor, environmental, and workplace safety regulations, with strong compliance and risk management capabilities.
  • Proficient in ERP and CRM systems, and data-driven decision-making tools.

3. Key Attributes

  • Self-motivated, innovative, and adaptable to fast-paced work environments.

4. Preferred Qualifications

  • Had cross-cultural management experience.
