Job Description

A leading distribution company is seeking a motivated and experienced Production Supervisor to join its 2nd shift operations team. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who thrives in fast-paced environments and is passionate about driving efficiency, maintaining high-quality standards, and fostering a strong team culture.

What You’ll Do:

• Lead and develop a team of production employees through coaching, training, and performance evaluations
• Monitor and optimize line efficiencies, KPIs, and downtime
• Maintain operations within labor and OPEX budget parameters
• Ensure all equipment is operational and that safety protocols are followed at all times
• Oversee line readiness at the start of shift and manage smooth changeovers
• Maintain high standards of product quality and packaging
• Support a safe and productive work environment, including physical tasks (lifting, bending, climbing)

What You’ll Bring:

• High school diploma or GED (Bachelor’s degree preferred)
• 1–3 years of experience in a manufacturing or production setting
• 2+ years of supervisory experience in a production environment strongly preferred
• Strong understanding of production systems and safety protocols
• Comfortable using basic computer applications and databases
• Forklift certification is a plus
• Familiar with Union environments
