We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Insurance Agency Sales Manager to lead and grow our retail commercial agency force. The ideal candidate will be responsible for recruiting, training, and managing a team of agents while driving sales performance across commercial insurance products. This role requires a well-rounded understanding of the insurance markets, exceptional leadership skills, and the ability to motivate a team to achieve and exceed sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
• Recruit, hire, and onboard commercial insurance agents.
• Develop and implement comprehensive training programs.
• Set sales targets and drive agency performance to meet goals.
• Provide ongoing coaching, motivation, and performance feedback.
• Stay updated on commercial insurance products and market trends.
• Create strategies to expand market share and penetrate new business sectors.
• Foster a positive, goal-oriented team environment.
• Monitor and report sales performance metrics.
• Collaborate with leadership to align sales strategies with business objectives.
Qualifications
• Minimum 5-7 years of experience in commercial insurance sales and agency management.
• Proven leadership experience in managing a sales team.
• In-depth knowledge of commercial insurance products and markets.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong motivational and coaching abilities.
• Ability to develop sales strategies and execute business plans.
• Insurance licenses required (Property & Casualty, Life & Health preferred).
