As a Sales Associate, the ideal candidate is outgoing with high energy that thrives in a fast-paced work environment. Excellent communication, time management, and ability to prioritize tasks timely to achieve deadlines with a high-volume workload. • Help with the development stages of products - including design and trends.
• Work closely with the Art department/design team to give direction on design- making sure they are meeting all deadlines.
• Meet with buyers during sales meetings and take notes on all comments they are giving.
• Maintain an accurate record of all styles/orders organized and track shipping as well.
• Comment on all samples the factory is sending making sure all styles coordinate and tell a story.
• Must have a good sense of details/colors and good communication skills to comment to the factory on all changes needed.
• Help with setting up customer quote sheets /Purchase order detail sheets needed to place orders.
• Work with customers on all revisions needed.

COMPETENCIES

• Experience with TJX, Ross, and other discounted retailers is a major plus
• 3+ years’ experience in wholesale sales or industry-related experience
• Comfortable making phone sales & have strong negotiation skills.
• Strong communication skills
• Proficient in Vlook up & Pivot tables
• High proficiency with Microsoft Excel, and PowerPoint is required.
• Strong listening, written, and oral communication skills
• Self-motivated and highly organized.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and high-intensity environment.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Sales or equivalent, with wholesale imports or related experience; or an Associate’s degree with 3 year of wholesale imports or related experience; or 5+ years sales experience
