Please note that this role will require candidates to work onsite at least once or twice weekly at our client's Louisville, KY operation. All interested candidates must be able to meet this requirement.

Ingenium Talent is working with a global manufacturing leader in their search for an SAP Analyst to join the organization in a full-time capacity. This role is responsible for overseeing the development, deployment, maintenance, and continuous enhancement of SAP functional programs and reports that align with our client's strategic goals. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of SAP systems, business processes, and data management, and will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to drive operational efficiency and innovation.

Experience with SAP Production Planning, Quality Management, and Purchasing is required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze current or proposed SAP system configurations and design effective solutions, applications, and workflows to meet business needs.
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance reports by modeling, transforming, and organizing data to fulfill business requirements.
  • Support data validation, security, and governance efforts to ensure data integrity across systems.
  • Create documentation, including process diagrams and technical reports, to support analysis and recommend improvements.
  • Deliver functional SAP support, training, and troubleshooting to business users across departments.
  • Manage and contribute to complex projects, often working on multiple high-impact initiatives simultaneously.
  • Develop proposals and cost estimates for future SAP and BI-related work.
  • Ensure deliverables meet established timelines and functional requirements; review and validate technical specs.
  • Provide detailed SAP functional specifications and customization/configuration expertise.
  • Offer ongoing SAP support to users across all business units, including warehousing, accounting, purchasing, sales, marketing, customer service, and R&D.
  • Support and optimize business processes and strategies via SAP and business intelligence tools.
  • Manage BI systems (e.g., Microsoft Power BI), including development, administration, and user support.

Qualifications

Education & Certifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering required
  • SAP Certification strongly preferred
  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on SAP functional support
  • Experience with the following modules required: PP/MM/Quality Management
  • At least 2 years of SAP technical experience preferred
  • Experience in SAP Security is a plus
  • Proven track record in providing SAP configuration and functional support
