SCHOOL NURSE (RN / LPN) - MULTIPLE DISABILITY STUDENTS CLASSROOM - MIDDLE SCHOOL LEVEL Garnet Valley Middle School SHIFT SCHEDULE: Monday through Friday 7:30am - 3:00pm Are you a dedicated Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse looking for a fulfilling career supporting students' health and well-being? As a School Nurse (RN / LPN), you will:

• Provide direct care to students with chronic health conditions, following students IEP's
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and school policies
• Monitor and manage student health records to ensure compliance with state regulations
• Develop and implement care plans for students with medical needs
• Educate students, staff, and parents on health-related topics, including disease prevention, hygiene, and wellness
• Respond to medical emergencies and coordinate with emergency services when necessary
• Collaborate with school staff and community health resources to support students' well-being

A few must-haves for School Nurses:

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program with an active RN or LPN license in PA
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in pediatric, school health, or community health nursing
• Current CPR certification
• Strong assessment skills, critical thinking, and ability to work independently
• Compassionate communicator who values collaboration with students, staff, and families
