About the Role

We’re seeking a detailed‑oriented Seasonal Shipping Assistant to support high‑volume retail/e‑commerce and wholesale order fulfillment. You’ll help keep our shipping operation running smoothly during peak season—picking, packing, gift wrapping, building boxes, and replenishing supplies—while maintaining speed, accuracy, and brand presentation standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Retail / E‑Commerce and Wholesale Shipping

• Pick, pack, and ship daily DTC orders with a focus on accuracy and presentation.
• Ensure on‑time carrier pickups; track exceptions and escalate delivery issues as needed.
• Perform quality checks against order details and fraud flags before release.
• Pick, pack, and prepare bulk and multi‑box wholesale POs to meet retailer routing guides and ship windows.

Packaging & Presentation

• Execute brand‑right gift wrapping , tissueing, and presentation standards.
• Build boxes and protective inner packs to minimize transit damage.
• Build and pack Ring sizer boxes as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized pack station with correct dunnage and inserts.

Inventory & Supplies

• Replenish supplies (boxes, mailers, tape, labels, tissue, gift wrap, inserts) and flag low‑stock levels proactively.
• Receive and stage incoming packaging materials.
• Support other fulfillment tasks as assigned during peak volume.

Qualifications

• 6+ months of experience in shipping/fulfillment, warehouse, or retail stockroom (peak/seasonal experience a plus).
• Familiarity with shipping software (e.g., ShipStation, Shopify/ERP OMS, UPS WorldShip/FedEx Ship Manager).
• Strong attention to detail and pride in presentation; reliable, punctual, and team‑oriented.
• Able to lift/move up to 20–40 lbs , stand/walk for extended periods, and perform repetitive tasks safely.
• Comfortable meeting daily productivity goals in a fast‑paced environment.
• Basic Excel/Google Sheets skills for logs and exceptions preferred.

Schedule & Compensation

• Schedule: Seasonal September - January
• Compensation: $28/hour
