Senior Electrical Engineer

Senior Electrical Engineer required for a highly innovative fuel cell company, to support the electrical design of the fuel cell packaging. This is a high performing and motivated team, at a key stage in their growth, looking at increasing the commercialization of their technology.

Responsibilities: Senior Electrical Engineer

• Contribute to the electrical design, development, and integration of fuel cell packaging.
• Focusing on high-efficiency, low-voltage applications (50-5000W max).
• Implement Design for Manufacturing (DFM) principles to ensure scalable, cost-effective production.
• Develop schematic capture and PCB layout for PCVBA designs, ensuring robust and reliable system performance.
• Define product requirements and develop rigorous performance validation criteria to meet industry standards.
• Utilize SolidWorks to assist in design and analysis.
• Collaborate closely with mechanical engineers to ensure seamless integration of electrical and mechanical components.
• Manage project timelines efficiently, demonstrating a strong ability to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality work.

Experience Required: Senior Electrical Engineer

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Hands-on experience in low-voltage power applications (50W - 5000W max).
• Schematic capture/design and PCB layout.
• DC/AC Converter knowledge
• SolidWorks experience
• Interest in the clean energy sector.
