Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare accurate cost estimates for rebar installation on heavy civil, energy, and utility infrastructure projects.
• Analyze structural drawings, specifications, and contract documents to develop full-scope bid proposals.
• Perform quantity takeoffs, labor/equipment costing, and vendor/sub pricing.
• Identify risks, scope gaps, and potential value engineering opportunities.
• Coordinate with Project Managers and Executives during pre-bid and proposal review.
• Maintain historical pricing data and stay current on industry cost trends.
• Support business development and strategic growth into new regions and project types.

Ideal Candidate:

• 3–10 years of estimating experience in rebar, structural concrete, or heavy civil construction.
• Proficient with estimating software (e.g., ASA, Shear97, HCSS HeavyBid, Excel).
• Strong knowledge of rebar installation methods and concrete structural systems.
• Experience working on bids with large general contractors and DOT/public sector clients preferred.
• Excellent blueprint reading and specification interpretation skills.
• Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and comfortable in a fast-paced, growth-focused environment.
• Entrepreneurial spirit with an interest in ownership-style incentives and business growth.
