Job Description

Position Overview

A leading real estate organization is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to support financial planning, analysis, and reporting across multiple portfolios. This role plays a critical part in budgeting, forecasting, valuation, and performance reporting, partnering closely with cross-functional teams and senior leadership to drive informed decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare annual budgets and lead quarterly reforecasting cycles to support strategic planning
  • Analyze portfolio performance, identify trends, risks, and performance gaps, and clearly communicate insights
  • Support valuation activities in partnership with Accounting and other stakeholders
  • Produce high-quality financial and investor reporting aligned with business objectives
  • Deliver regular performance updates and ad-hoc analysis to senior leadership
  • Develop cash flow projections, investment return analysis, and valuation models
  • Drive process improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and scalability of financial reporting
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to support broader business initiatives
  • Perform additional analytical and reporting responsibilities as needed

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting required
  • 3–5 years of relevant financial analysis experience
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required
  • Strong understanding of financial statements and how they interconnect
  • Experience supporting budgeting, forecasting, and performance reporting
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Highly analytical, detail-oriented, and proactive with a strong sense of ownership
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Collaborative team player with strong stakeholder management skills

Preferred Experience

  • Exposure to commercial real estate, including asset management, leasing, development, valuations, or capital markets
  • Familiarity with public company reporting and investor-facing deliverables
  • Experience with M&A or complex portfolio analysis
