Material Control Specialist - Fulltime - Direct Hire Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled Material Control Specialist. To support the production and manufacturing of a complex electromechanical capital equipment .

They're looking for a detail-oriented and organized professional to manage the flow of materials that keep their production running smoothly. From receiving parts to maintaining accurate inventory and ensuring timely shipments, you’ll play a key role in their manufacturing operations.

In this position, the candidate is responsible for overseeing the receipt of materials, stockroom inventory, issuing material to Work Orders, and pack and shipment of product including shipment paperwork. If your expertise expands these initial responsibilities even better, there's room for a wider scope if that's what you're looking for.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Receipt of incoming material and movement into the stockroom
• Management of the stockroom inventory including weekly cycle counts ensuring accurate inventory control
• Issue material to Work Orders in support of production
• Inspection of machined and sheet metal mechanical parts
• Managing floor stock and supplies for manufacturing including Kanban inventory
• Shipping of components or completed products
• Ability to handle materials for a complex product with 700+ parts

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:

• High School Diploma or GED
• 5+ years’ experience in material control and stockroom management
• Experience working in machined and sheet metal mechanical parts
• Experience handling materials for a complex product with 700+ parts

ADDITIONAL SKILLS:

• NetSuite or other Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Systems knowledge.
• Microsoft Office suite of software proficiency
