Senior Project Manager

Location: Salt Lake City, UT

Duration: 12 Months (Contract)

Position Summary

The Senior Project Manager will lead complex, enterprise-level projects within the Consumables R&D department , supporting business units in Infusion, Oncology, Vascular Access, and Pain Management . This role manages cross-functional project teams across multiple facilities and interacts with senior leadership, including Directors, VPs, and Executives, to provide updates and ensure alignment with strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities

Project Planning

• Define project scope, objectives, and success metrics in collaboration with management and technical leads.
• Develop comprehensive work plans, resource allocations, and schedules.
• Identify and manage project risks, dependencies, and milestones.

Staffing & Implementation

• Partner with department managers to assemble project teams with the required skill sets.
• Execute project plans while maintaining accurate documentation, forms, and records.
• Monitor project progress and quality, ensuring deliverables meet established standards and timelines.
• Maintain effective communication with stakeholders through regular status updates.

Project Control & Reporting

• Track budgets, expenditures, and timelines to ensure compliance and alignment with goals.
• Prepare progress reports and present to senior management and stakeholders.
• Ensure financial records and project documentation are accurate and current.

Evaluation

• Evaluate project outcomes based on defined success criteria.
• Identify lessons learned and best practices for future projects.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and special assignments as needed.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Strong understanding of project management methodologies and their practical application.
• Familiarity with design controls , FDA-regulated environments , and manufacturing processes .
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage complex data and multiple priorities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration and influence.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and SharePoint .
• Analytical and problem-solving capabilities with a focus on quality and efficiency.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution (required).
• 4+ years of relevant project management experience.
• Must be 18 years or older .
• Experience in medical device, healthcare, or regulated manufacturing environments preferred.
