Job Description

A REMOTE Senior FPGA Verification Engineer job is currently available through Belcan at one of our key aerospace clients. To be considered for this role, you will have a Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering, and 6 plus years of experience designing FPGAs/ASICs. Experience aerospace and defense projects is strongly preferred. In this role, you will be responsible for verification, documentation per the DO-254 guidelines, creating test plans, meeting timeline deliverables, overseeing jr engineers and providing guidance as required. This is a very visible opportunity requiring interfacing with internal management as well as customer facing interactions. Job Duties:

• Generate detailed test model(s) to meet program verification requirements.
• Meet all the documentation needs of an aerospace development project
• Create and execute a test plan.
• Coordinate and Direct other members on the team to complete verification effort.
• Interface with customer in providing status and addressing opens, queries.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical or Computer Engineering, or related discipline, advanced degree preferred.
• Ten plus years of experience designing and developing Verification artifacts for FPGAs/ASICs from concept through production. Aerospace experience required.
• Extensive experience with all facets of Verification including: Test Bench creation, updating, maintaining and meeting verification goals of an DO-254 DAL-A design
• Experience in DO-254 verification environment, documentation, process practices.
• Strong knowledge of industry standard verification tools and methodologies
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Excellent analytical, root cause, debugging and analytical skills
• Due to the nature of the work performed, US CITIZENSHIP is a REQUIREMENT

We offer a competitive pay and benefits package. This position is offering a salary range of $125,000 to $170,000. Belcan considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to education, experience, geographic location, and discipline.
