Job Title: Shipping Associate
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (occasional overtime as needed)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Shipping Associate to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring the accurate, timely, and professional handling of all shipping operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong attention to detail, a high level of professionalism, and the ability to anticipate needs to keep processes running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare, pack, and ship outgoing orders with accuracy and efficiency.
Verify shipping information, labels, and documentation to ensure compliance and accuracy.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Coordinate with team members, carriers, and internal departments to resolve any shipping-related issues.
Monitor inventory of packing supplies and proactively communicate needs.
Inspect products for quality assurance before shipment.
Assist with receiving, stocking, and organizing materials as needed.
Support continuous improvement efforts to streamline shipping processes.
Qualifications:
Prior warehouse, logistics, or shipping/receiving experience preferred.
Strong attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Professional communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to work independently and proactively anticipate needs.
Basic computer skills; experience with shipping software a plus.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
