Overview

We’re looking for a creative and motivated Social Media Specialist to join our startup agency’s marketing team. In this role, you’ll help develop and manage social strategies for a variety of brands, crafting content that connects, engages, and drives results. You should have a good mix of creativity and analytical thinking, along with a strong pulse on social trends and what makes audiences click. If you love bringing fresh ideas to life and making an impact across multiple brands, we’d love to meet you.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and run creative social media strategies across platforms like Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and more, each with its own vibe and audience.
  • Create scroll-stopping content that fits each brand’s voice and actually gets people to engage.
  • Keep a close eye on social trends and conversations. If something’s trending, you’ll know how to make it relevant for our clients.
  • Do a little SEO and keyword digging to help content get seen by the right people.
  • Track what’s working (and what’s not) using analytics tools and social insights to fine-tune performance.
  • Work closely with our team to make sure everything feels cohesive and on-brand.
  • Double-check every caption and graphic. Details matter.
  • Stay plugged into what’s new in the world of digital marketing, e-commerce, and social media so our clients always stay ahead of the curve.
  • Open to participation in networking groups and other community events.
  • Other general marketing tasks as needed.

 

What We’re Looking For:

  • A degree in marketing (or something similar) is preferred but not required — we care more about your hustle and creativity.
  • Real-world experience running social or digital marketing campaigns; if you’ve grown a brand or built engagement, we want to hear about it.
  • You know your way around Canva or Adobe tools (or whatever helps you make clean and eye-catching visuals).
  • You’ve managed Facebook Ads or other paid social campaigns and know what makes people click.
  • You’re into content creation, whether that’s shooting photos, editing reels, or crafting scroll-stopping posts.
  • You’re a natural people person who can connect with all kinds of audiences and build genuine online relationships.
  • You get the numbers side too, tracking analytics, reporting results, and spotting what’s working (and what’s not).
  • You’ve got a sharp eye for detail. Typos beware.
  • Someone who wants to progress into a larger role with other marketing responsibilities as the company grows.
  • Bonus points if you’ve got experience in:
  • Sales or networking.
  • Wordpress.
  • CRMs.
  • SEO and blogging.
