My client a fast-paced growing personal care ingredient developer and contract manufacturer located in the suburbs of Charlotte, North Carolina seeks a hands-on, experienced Senior Formulation Chemist to join their R&D team. This position must have prior experience working on multiple projects developing hair and skincare formulas from ideation to scale-up. Be able to provide scientific advisory support across projects acting as a subject matter expert on formulation science. Be able to work cross functionally to support scale-up and manufacturing and QA.
To thrive this environment and succeed, candidates must have a BS in Chemistry, Cosmetic Science or a related field. And have (5-10 ) year's prior experience working in a contract manufacturing skincare and/or haircare development developer/ mfg. environment. Prior experience working with OTC products. Prior experience developing clean beauty, natural ingredients a plus.
