Superintendent – Production
Location: Brownsville, TN | Competitive Pay + Full Benefits
We are seeking an experienced Superintendent – Production to oversee operations in our Injection Molding department. This role is responsible for driving safety, quality, and productivity while meeting customer needs and leading a large, diverse team in a 24/7 production environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, motivate, and support production teams in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment.
- Manage day-to-day operations across multiple shifts, ensuring consistency in policies and procedures.
- Maintain a safe workplace by enforcing standards, leading training, and completing investigations.
- Oversee operational metrics to achieve productivity goals, reduce costs, and improve efficiency.
- Partner with engineering, maintenance, and quality teams to ensure all standards and priorities are met.
- Drive lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives, including scrap reduction and quality enhancements.
- Hire, train, and develop staff to build strong, capable teams.
- Spearhead projects that address business challenges and contribute to long-term objectives.
- Remain available on call for emergencies as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related technical field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum 5 years of manufacturing leadership, plastics experience preferred.
- Knowledge of material control, engineering, maintenance, and quality.
- Experience with ERP/MRP systems and continuous improvement methodologies (LEAN, TPM, WCM).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills at all organizational levels.
- Proven ability to manage change, drive results, and lead by example.
- Excellent project management, data analysis, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to remain calm and focused in a demanding environment.
