Superintendent – Production

Location: Brownsville, TN | Competitive Pay + Full Benefits

We are seeking an experienced Superintendent – Production to oversee operations in our Injection Molding department. This role is responsible for driving safety, quality, and productivity while meeting customer needs and leading a large, diverse team in a 24/7 production environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, motivate, and support production teams in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment.
  • Manage day-to-day operations across multiple shifts, ensuring consistency in policies and procedures.
  • Maintain a safe workplace by enforcing standards, leading training, and completing investigations.
  • Oversee operational metrics to achieve productivity goals, reduce costs, and improve efficiency.
  • Partner with engineering, maintenance, and quality teams to ensure all standards and priorities are met.
  • Drive lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives, including scrap reduction and quality enhancements.
  • Hire, train, and develop staff to build strong, capable teams.
  • Spearhead projects that address business challenges and contribute to long-term objectives.
  • Remain available on call for emergencies as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related technical field (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum 5 years of manufacturing leadership, plastics experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of material control, engineering, maintenance, and quality.
  • Experience with ERP/MRP systems and continuous improvement methodologies (LEAN, TPM, WCM).
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills at all organizational levels.
  • Proven ability to manage change, drive results, and lead by example.
  • Excellent project management, data analysis, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to remain calm and focused in a demanding environment.
