Golden Seal Enterprises seeks professional, responsible unarmed security officers who are customer focused, friendly ,  and helpful!

Do you like being part of a team, attending special events, but being paid to do so? We are seeking floating officers who assist with local, special events. Officers must follow a strict standard of conduct ,  and smoking is not permitted while on duty. Must have a   clean background with a   fingerprint check. Experience and training are NOT REQUIRED, but preferred. DCJS 11-5343.

Must be able to work any day of the week, any shift. Must be able to stand up to 8 hours and work outdoors in any condition.

Work Environment

This job operates outdoors. There is a possibility of inclement weather. Officers must be willing and able to stand for long periods of time (entire shift) and be able to maintain a friendly and professional demeanor.

Required Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or G.E.D.; related experience preferred, but not essential.

Preferred Education and Experience

• Prior military, law enforcement, or private security experience/training preferred, but not essential.
• Active individual registration in private security with the Virginia Department of Criminal Justice Services preferred, but not essential.
• Current certification in basic First Aid, CPR, and AED preferred, but not essential.

Additional Eligibility Qualifications

• Able to obtain and keep an active Virginia Department of Criminal Justice Services registration in applicable categories, to include passing a background check.
• Able to pass a drug test.

Work Authorization/Security Clearance (if applicable)

• Must be a legal U.S. citizen.

Pay: $18.50 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 40 per week

• 10 hour shift
• 12 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Evening shift
• Monday to Friday
• Night shift
• Overnight shift
• Weekends as needed
