Senior Video Engineer (VOD, Video Compression & Scripting Expertise)
Location : Denver, CO – Hybrid work schedule
Salary Range: $100,000 - $145,000 + Bonus + Excellent Benefits and Paid Time Off
Bright Minds is searching for an experienced Video Engineer with a strong background in VOD, video compression, and scripting to support our client’s cutting edge video streaming and video system efforts in the Denver, CO area. Previous MSO background is needed as you'll support and optimize video delivery technologies, ensuring top-notch performance in video and signal processing across various platforms.
The Video Engineer is responsible for supporting, optimizing, and enhancing advanced video equipment, including VOD, multiplexing, edge QAM, and digital transport systems. You'll collaborate with engineering teams to design, implement, and test video delivery systems and improve system performance, ensuring they run smoothly and efficiently. Video Engineers work closely with vendors, field teams, and other stakeholders to implement network-related projects and resolve any design issues. As a senior engineer, you'll also mentor junior engineers, providing guidance and fostering team development.
