Assist KARM Stores in safely and efficiently managing donations and other items in both the indoor and outdoor warehouse areas. While not all Production and Warehouse team members perform every task regularly, cross-training in most areas will be a key responsibility for all team members.
Must be able to drive or learn to drive a forklift accurately and safely.
Option to certify as a forklift operator.
Mechanical aptitude is very desirable.
Excellent communication skills with a good command of English, able to read and write clearly and concisely.
Must be adaptable to change, and able to multitask or shift focus quickly.
Must have or learn understanding of stacking, wrapping , moving and storing pallets of odd materials on multiple levels including warehouse shelving.
Must be pleasant to work with, have a willing attitude and be service oriented.
Must be committed to the mission of KARM Thrift Stores.
Must be able to work in a fast paced environment under some stress and time constraints.
Computer skills to include general typing skills and web browsing capabilities.
Physical Requirements
Stand – up to 100% of a standard work day.PHYSICAL ACTIVITY LEVEL
