Job Description

Position Summary

The Watchmaker must perform professional and technical repairs and refurbishing of Bvlgari watches, respecting deadlines. This role also acts as a technical advisor for the reparability of products and is responsible for polishing watch components and cases to meet Bvlgari’s luxury finishing standards.

Responsibilities

• Service and troubleshoot complex watch problems for all timepieces, including, but not limited to, quartz, mechanical, and chronograph movements.
• Demonstrate knowledge of how to set, adjust, and activate all functions of watches, including final controls. Ability to repair/replace movements, gaskets, crystals, cases, and crowns.
• Implement solutions for repair, such as timing adjustments and movement cleaning.
• Perform polishing and refinishing of watch cases, bracelets, and components using appropriate techniques and tools, ensuring high-end luxury finishing aligned with Bulgari standards.
• Ensure polishing processes maintain the integrity of materials and comply with health, safety, and quality protocols.
• Demonstrate proficiency with repair tools and testing equipment.
• Provide accurate technical estimates and diagnostics.
• Maintain a clean and organized workshop area. Follow all company protocols for securing and storing company and customer-owned merchandise, including destruction of parts when required.
• Ensure the workshop is in constant compliance with health and safety requirements.
• Deliver consistent service quality under Bulgari standards.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in repairing and polishing high-end watches, including refinishing cases, bracelets, and components for luxury timepieces with mechanical and quartz movements.
• Ability to analyze full-service repair issues and provide timely solutions.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality craftsmanship.
• Effective at setting priorities and managing workload efficiently.
• Collaborative and team-oriented with excellent communication skills.
• Proficient in written and verbal English.
• Flexible and responsive to fluctuations in work volume and business needs.
• Ability to meet deadlines and work efficiently within time-sensitive schedules.
