Position Title: Welder

Openings: 100 (50 in each location)

Location: Topeka, KS + Manhattan, KS

Duration: Direct-Hire, Permanent

Shifts for Topeka (Monday-Thursday, Overtime on Fridays):

• 1st shift: 5:30am-3:30pm
• 2nd shift: 3:30pm-1:30am ($3 shift differential)
• 3rd shift: 8:00pm-6:00am ($3 shift differential)

Shifts for Manhattan:

• 1st shift: 5:30am-3:30pm

Pay Rate: $20-28 / hour

• Pay increases are available with certificates
• Every certificate earned is a pay increase

Interview Process:

• One & done, onsite interviews. Will take a welding test upon arrival

Must Haves:

• Highschool Diploma or equivalent
• 1+ year of welding experience
• Experience with various welding processes (GMAW, FCAW, GTAW)

Day-to-Day:

We are looking for a self-motivated, quality-minded, highly skilled Welder to join our production team at our facility in Topeka, KS. In this position, welders work on in-house projects. Welders are expected to safely complete each job within specific deadlines to ensure we meet our customers’ needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Interpret and follow proper welding procedures and welding symbols on drawings.
• Use calibrated measuring tools (measuring tapes, squares, etc.) to properly fit up assemblies.
• Utilize industry tools and equipment. Hand, pneumatic, electric, and battery powered tools. Plasma cutters, oxyacetylene torches, and carbon air arc.
• Weld parts in various positions, processes (GMAW, FCAW, and GTAW), and materials (Steel, Aluminum, and Stainless Steel).
• Clean and maintain equipment and work area.
• Follow all safety guidelines and procedures.
• Assist in other areas of production as needed or as assigned.
