Review and evaluate the condition of the machine and auxiliary work equipment to ensure the wire drawing process is performed in accordance with the specified work route in the SAP system.
Mount the material onto the wire drawing machine (identify wire drawing dies according to the scheduled measurement) following the respective instructions and carry out the wire drawing process, with the aim of ensuring that the process aligns with the routing sheet specifications.
Obtain samples for quality analyses and tests as per instructions (grain size, hardness, single and double torsion) to verify that the technical specifications meet the client's requirements.
Generate quality notifications and send the batch to the Quality Warehouse, then perform the corresponding treatment to determine the final disposition of the product.
Record and report finished products, by-products, and production downtime in the system to support warehouse inventory control and production decision-making.
Prepare control documents and deliver them to the warehouse (delivery notes, production reports) to facilitate warehouse inventory tracking.
Fill out records and update production indicators to provide information that supports production-related decisions.
Carry out control of critical points during the wire drawing process in accordance with the quality plan, with the aim of identifying potential non-conformities in drawn products.
Weigh, identify, and record production in the SAP system to help monitor plant inventory and stock levels.
Create maintenance notifications in SAP so that the respective maintenance procedures for the machine or auxiliary equipment can be scheduled as needed.
Report unsafe conditions in the plant and any unsafe acts by personnel. Provide support in safety inspections, and report incidents and/or accidents in coordination with the Safety area.
Comply with the 5S program by applying order and cleanliness to ensure that work areas remain safe.
Experience with wire drawing machinery in general
Experience with general wire drawing machinery: 6 months to 1 year (to be validated with the consulting firm).
Operation of industrial machinery or basic knowledge in mechanical maintenance.
Basic knowledge of metrology.
Experience in handling lifting equipment such as overhead cranes.
Basic knowledge of SAP Production."
Selected candidates may be required to travel to Peru for training. Travel arrangements will be coordinated in advance for those chosen.
Additionally, candidates must be able to pass a physical test as part of the hiring process.
