This is an on-site role at our San Francisco office. This is a part-time position (20-32 hours) with the opportunity to become full-time. The days and schedule are flexible. There will be an opportunity for this position to become full-time.

Role Description

The case manager will support our attorneys in representing clients at every stage of a workers' compensation case. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with excellent attention to detail, strong writing and analytical skills, and the ability to work efficiently and collaboratively.

Responsibilities

• Filing DOR's, Applications, other worker compensation related filings
• Manage clerical duties including answering phone calls, scheduling appointments, and maintaining calendars
• Organize and maintain legal files and documents efficiently
• Assist in the drafting of legal correspondences, memos, and court documents
• Aid attorneys in preparing for hearings, trials, and depositions
• Coordinate communication with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel as required
• Provide comprehensive administrative support to the legal team

Qualifications:

• 1 year of CA Workers' Compensation experience (Required)
• Experience with EAMS and E-Filing (Required)
• Exceptional organizational skills with a demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks adeptly
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities
• Attention to detail
• Previous experience within a law firm or legal environment is desirable
