Environmental Health and Safety Leader (Manufacturing)

Responsibilities:

• Maintains all safety and accident records.
• Support audit contractor and EHS policies and standards.
• Develop and implement Safety programs.
• Comply with environmental management system for manufacturing facility.
• Generate and maintain documentation related to EHS initiatives.
• Contribute to administration of EHS programs.
• Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and ensure adherence to safety protocols.
• Participates in site compliance, review, and audits (internal and external).
• Conduct thorough risk assessments and implement corrective actions to reduce hazards, prevent injuries, and minimize environmental impact—delivering timely, cost-effective solutions.
• Work closely with Human Resources to file incident reports, manage work restrictions, and coordinate light-duty assignments or accommodations as needed.
• Utilize corporate EHS software systems to track performance metrics, ensure regulatory compliance, and identify safety trends.

Requirements:

• Bachelors Degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Management.
• Manufacturing Industry experience.
• Follow and implement OSHA regulations.
• Expert knowledge of safety system analysis.
• Safety training
• Strong working knowledge of EH&S regulations, compliance requirements.
• Continuous improvement
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state and local regulations pertaining to EH&S.
• Expert knowledge of safety system analysis.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills to identify potential hazards or risks.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
