Summary of Primary Functions: We seek a professional and fluent Korean-to-English interpreter to facilitate clear and accurate communication between Korean-speaking and English-speaking individuals. The ideal candidate will have excellent language skills in both Korean and English and experience interpreting in real-time across various settings, including meetings, conferences, phone calls, and virtual platforms.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:
• Interpret spoken or written communication from Korean to English and vice versa in real time.
• Provide consecutive or simultaneous interpretation depending on the situation.
• Maintain the confidentiality and integrity of all interpreted content.
• Support communication in meetings, conferences, medical appointments, legal proceedings, customer service calls, or training sessions.
• Translate documents when needed to support interpretation assignments.
• Ensure cultural nuances and context are accurately conveyed.
• Prepare for assignments by researching relevant terminology or subject matter.
Requirements:
• Fluency in both Korean and English (spoken and written).
• Proven experience as an interpreter or in a similar role.
• Strong understanding of cultural sensitivities and nuances.
• Ability to work well under pressure and in fast-paced environments.
• Excellent listening, memory, and note-taking skills.
• Professional demeanor and strong interpersonal skills.
• Certification in interpretation (preferred but not always required depending on industry).
Preferred Qualifications:
• Degree in Linguistics, Translation, Communications, or a related field.
• Certification from a recognized interpreting
• Experience in specific sectors such as healthcare, legal, or business.
