Job Description

A renowned mental health organization serving the Bronx is urgently seeking a full-time, Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) to join their compassionate and mission-driven team. With many clients currently on a waiting list, this role offers an immediate opportunity to make a difference in the lives of individuals and families in need of support.

In this essential role, you will:

• Provide individual, family, or group therapy to a caseload of 15 20 clients ,
• Conduct thorough assessments and develop personalized treatment goals,
• Delivery of services in homes, schools, centers, and other public settings throughout the Bronx,
• Collaborate with LCSW supervisors and interdisciplinary care teams, and
• Maintain compliance with documentation standards, including accurate therapy notes .

To be successful in this position, you must possess:

• An active LMHC license in New York State,
• A minimum of 3 years of experience providing mental health services,
• The ability to pass a criminal background check , and
• Excellent interpersonal and strong documentation skills , including timely and accurate therapy notes.

In return for your commitment and service, this organization offers:

• $75/hour on a 1099 contractor basis ,
• Flexible full-time scheduling: 30 45 hours/week ,
• An immediate caseload from a large existing waitlist .
